On-Locations Electric Services
Just like houses and commercial buildings, film and television sets also require electrical wiring. Not everything you see on screen is TV magic – sometimes flipping a switch to turn on a light is just as it seems! Our services include practical wiring for any electrical apparatus on-camera that is actually being used, like working a blender or turning on a lamp, as well as creating specific set lighting for filming and providing electrical delivery to all set departments –including trailers, catering, offices, screen monitors and more.

Norris Electrical installs and uninstalls temporary power networks, assists in setting up the rig, and complete lighting tweaks on set for filming. We work with the Gaffer and Director of Photography to set up lighting to the specifications needed for each shot. This is a job that involves following directions down to the detail and working to create a perfectly lit set within a short period of time. We operate hundreds of lights and run the miles of cable necessary to set the look of a scene and illuminate the action.
